Biography
He is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Impact and Shock Mechanics Laboratory within the Department of Engineering Science, where his work centres on the mechanical behaviour of advanced materials for aeroengine and protective structure applications.
He completed his DPhil at the University of Oxford, focusing on the performance of titanium alloys under complex high-speed loading and extreme temperature conditions. He also holds a BEng in Aerospace Engineering from the Moscow Aviation Institute, and an MSc in Aerospace Engineering jointly awarded by Nanyang Technological University and the Technical University of Munich.
Prior to his current role, he was a Research Associate at Nanyang Technological University, contributing to projects on passive armour design and mass surface finishing of large aerospace components. Alongside his research, he is an active member of the Linacre College welfare team, supporting initiatives aimed at enhancing student wellbeing and college life.
