Biography
Ioannis studied at the University of Crete (UoC), acquiring a BSc in physics in 2017 and a MSc through the "Photonics and Nanoelectronics" in 2019.
He worked at the "Non-Linear Lithography" group of Dr. Maria Farsari, specializing on Multiphoton Lithography. At his time there, he utilized this method to design and realize magnetic structures and mechanical metamaterials in the microscale.
In 2019, Ioannis started his DPhil in the "Metamaterials" group in the University of Oxford.
Research Interests
Ioannis is currently focusing on the fabrication of 3D electromagnetic materials in the micro- and meso-scales, paving the path towards integrating metamaterial geometries in additively manufactured devices.
