Biography
Dr Irem Bozyigit studied civil engineering at Ege University. She also completed her MSc and PhD at Ege University specialising in geotechnical engineering. In her PhD thesis, she investigated cyclic and postcyclic behaviour of silty soils. She was a visiting PhD student at the University of Exeter in 2019.
She was supported by a national postdoctoral fellowship programme and started the research based on soil response under partially drained conditions in the Department of Engineering Science of the University of Oxford in February 2023.
