Biography
Dr. Jialin Yu is a researcher in the field of machine learning and artificial intelligence. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Oxford, based in the Torr Vision Group, working with Prof. Philip Torr. He is also a postdoctoral fellow at Christ Church College and a visiting researcher at Microsoft. Previously, he was a postdoctoral researcher at University College London, working with Prof. Ricardo Silva from 2023 to 2025. He received his PhD in Computer Science from Durham University in 2023, where he was advised by Prof. Alexandra Cristea.
Dr. Yu has been actively serving as a member of the program committees at prestigious AI and ML venues, including NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, IJCAI, AISTATS, UAI, and KDD. He also co-organized the Scaling Up Intervention Models workshop at ICML 2025 and the Scaling Environments for Agents workshop at NeurIPS 2025.
