Biography
Mingcheng earned his Master’s degree from Imperial College London, with a thesis of fungal burden quantification in whole slide images, and a BEng from Sichuan University. He previously worked as a Senior Research Assistant at Duke-NUS Medical School, specializing in clinical AI fairness. His research experience includes medical image analysis and time-series analysis, with a focus on applications in healthcare.
Research Interests
Mingcheng’s research focuses on modelling electronic health records (EHRs) as event streams, emphasising rare diseases and personalized treatment, leveraging healthcare foundation models to enhance outcomes in few-shot and zero-shot scenarios.
