Biography

Dr. Mohamed Aly is currently Rolls-Royce's cryogenic specialist. He was the SME and rigs lead for the Rolls-Royce hydrogen engine project. Throughout his career, he led projects involving combined cycles, carbon capture, nuclear power, heat exchangers, and combustion systems. Mohamed’s career has spanned across multi-disciplines, covering combustion to cryogenics aspects in both industry and academia. His research focus is on thermofluids (heat transfer and fluid mechanics) and combustion with regard to hydrogen, LNG, ammonia...etc. He is a fellow and chartered engineer at the institution of mechanical engineers (IMechE). Also, a fellow of higher education academy (HEA).
