Biography
Dr. Niharika Gogoi completed her Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Tezpur University, India, followed by an MS by Research in Renewable Energy Systems at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT-G), India. She pursued her Ph.D. (January 2020 – June 2023) at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität (FAU) Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany, in collaboration with the Nagoya Institute of Technology, Japan.
In September 2023, she joined Durham University, UK, as a Postdoctoral Researcher, contributing to the EU-funded project Robocoenosis. In August 2025, she joined the Translational Bioelectronics Group at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering (IBME), University of Oxford, where she is working on the project GLUTRONCS to develop a glucose-powered chronic implantable system.
