Biography
Qianlin graduated with a Master’s degree in Materials for Energy and Environment from UCL in 2022, following a double Bachelor's degree in Material Physics and Finance from Southwest University in 2021.
Her Master's research focused on optimizing the crystal structures of hybrid bismuth halide perovskites and exploring the impact of introducing organic ligands on their photovoltaic performance. During her undergraduate studies, Qianlin conducted theoretical research on heterojunction organic solar cells, investigating charge migration properties at the donor-acceptor interface based on density functional theory (DFT).
She commenced her DPhil in Engineering Science at the University of Oxford and joined Soft Matter Photonics in 2024, under the supervision of Professor Stephen Morris. She is also a graduate student at St Edmund Hall.
