Biography
Sami is an experienced programme manager who joined the Technical AI Governance (TAIG) Programme with the Department of Engineering Science in November 2025. Sami previously worked with the Oxford Martin Programmes on the Future of Development, Future of Work, and Technological and Economic Change, as well as at INET Oxford. Prior to joining the University of Oxford, Sami worked as a project manager, producer, and digital archive consultant for non-profit and arts organisations in Toronto, Canada. They hold a MSt in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from the University of Oxford and a MA in Theatre and Performance Studies from York University, Canada.
