Biography
Sophie is from Germany and has an academic background in Bioscience and Plant Pathology. Before starting her DPhil in the Interdisciplinary Bioscience Programme at Oxford, she worked in the agricultural industry as part of a data governance and research software development team. For her doctoral research, Sophie collaborates with the PHI-base team at Rothamsted Research in Harpenden, the Preston Lab at Oxford’s Department of Biology, and the Data Readiness Group at the Oxford e-Research Centre.
