Biography
Dr. Tapabrata (Rohan) Chakraborty is the Lead Tutor for Information Engineering (B14 paper) and Tutor for Machine Learning (B20 paper) with the Engineering Science Department and a EPA Cephalosporin Fellow with Linacre College, University of Oxford. He is an invited expert on Responsible AI with Global Partnership on AI and a principal investigator on the GPAI India project. He is a Theme Lead in Transparent AI with the Turing-Roche Partnership at the Alan Turing Institute, London. He is Associate Editor of Springer Nature Computer Science and an Honorary Associate Professor with University College London. His areas of research interest are Transparent and Responsible AI/ML for equitable healthcare and social good, as well as AI governance and policy.
