Biography
Thomas Drezet joined the OTI under the Future Propulsion and Power CDT with support from Rolls-Royce plc. He is currently engaged in research within the numerical group into computational techniques for efficiently modelling heat exchanger installations in geared turbofan engines.
Prior to this, Thomas undertook studies at Durham university, with MEng research into novel steam turbines for waste heat recovery, then worked as a research engineer at AMRC Cymru on real-time data processing for robotic systems. This was followed by joining the Future Propulsion and Power CDT MRes at the Whittle lab Cambridge which led directly to Thomas’s current role.
