Biography
Unjin joined the Department of Engineering Science in October 2025, driven by a deep interest in fluid dynamics and mechanics that she gained studying at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics, University of Cambridge, for her master's degree. Her research focuses on the behaviour and distribution of radioactive particles within the marine environments surrounding the United Kingdom. By leveraging mathematical and computational approaches, she aims to better understand physical ocean dynamics and their interactions with the Earth's climate system. Ultimately, she aims to develop a versatile modelling framework applicable to a wide range of marine pollutants.
