Biography
Yaebi Hwang is a DPhil candidate focused on understanding hydrogen-metal interactions. She obtained BEng in Mechanical and Control Engineering in 2023 and an MEng in 2025, both from Handong Global University, South Korea. For her master’s thesis, she investigated the hydrogen embrittlement of thermally degraded materials. In October 2025, she joined Prof. Emilio Martinez-Pañeda's research group as a DPhil candidate, where she worked on understanding hydrogen-metal interactions.
