A day of free, interactive workshops, activities and demonstrations, showcasing innovative new collaborations between researchers and community groups in Oxford – from making sustainable paint with natural materials to exploring the relationship between science, technology and hip hop.
Science Together is an exciting new project, connecting the knowledge of Oxford’s community groups with the expertise of researchers from Oxford University and Oxford Brookes University to engage with major issues and questions impacting the lives of local people.
Join the fun and discovery in a series of short, interactive drop-in sessions led by the eight collaborations involved. Everyone is welcome!
Science on the Sofa, 7-9pm (join in-person or online)
In the evening, guests will have the chance to find out more about each collaboration from the researchers, community groups and service users involved, in ‘Science on the Sofa’ - a candid conversation hosted by Science Together facilitator, Oli Moore. This event is free, but ticketed, and will take place in the museum's Main Court.
Register for in-person tickets
For those unable to join in person, the conversation will also be livestreamed on Youtube
