Virtual Event: Digital Humanities at Oxford 2020
Date & Time
Monday 13 Jul 2020 - Wednesday 15 Jul 2020
Due to COVID-19, sadly the Digital Humanities Oxford Summer School cannot run in its usual format this year.
Instead we are pleased to offer a completely virtual, online event, DHOx2020, from 13-15 July, which will run on Zoom.
This virtual event will feature a wide selection of topics from the Digital Humanities Summer School, with morning plenaries from strand convenors, and interactive sessions led by Digital Humanities experts in the afternoons, when you will be able to network with other participants from around the world. You will benefit from insights into Digital Humanities topics including content from the following strands:
- Introduction to Digital Humanities
- Introduction to the Text Encoding Initiative
- Advanced Data Analytics
- Text to Tech
- Crowdsourced Research in the Humanities.
Your hosts for the 3 day event will be Oxford Professor of e-Research David De Roure, and Megan Gooch, Head of the Centre for Digital Scholarship and Digital Humanities Support.
We are looking forward to reinstating the full programme for the Summer School's 10th anniversary in 2021, but very much hope you can join us for an enjoyable and informative virtual event this July!
