We are seeking a full-time IT Service Delivery Manager to join the IT team at the Department of Engineering Science in central Oxford. The position is permanent.
This is an exciting role within the Department of Engineering Science’s IT Team, which will take the lead in delivering a high quality IT support service across the department. As well as having management responsibility for a small support team based at the department’s central Oxford site, the post will play a big role in guiding how support activities are undertaken and supported, collaborating with IT colleagues to devise and deliver the IT services and support needed to enable the department’s world-leading teaching and research.
As a member of the leadership team of the department’s IT team, you will be responsible for the successful development and operation of the IT support function, and creating successful IT communications to the department and in particular, taking the lead in major incident communications.
The role will have primary responsibility in the department for management of service delivery of those using departmental IT facilities.
You will be based in our central Oxford offices, with occasional travel to other sites in and around Oxford.
