Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Multi-modal Ultrasound Image Analysis

We are seeking a full-time Postdoctoral Research Assistant to work on deep-learning based ultrasound image analysis of the first-trimester ultrasound scan. The research will involve analysis of multi-modal ultrasound video, eye-tracking and probe motion data, as well as developing image analysis assistive technology to support scanning. The post is fixed-term for up to 24 months or until 31 March 2022.

You should possess a doctorate, or near completion of doctorate, in computer vision or in computer vision applied to medical imaging. A background and expertise in deep-learning based methods for recognition in images together with good written and oral communication skills are essential. Experience in ultrasound imaging is not essential but a willingness to quickly learn is, as is an interest in collaborating with clinical partners to design and develop solutions which may have impact on healthcare practice in the future.
