The Design, Build & Test Lab at the Department of Engineering Science, University of Oxford

The Design, Build & Test Laboratory is home to a range of equipment. You'll be visiting this lab throughout your time here, getting hands-on with projects that test and develop your Engineering Science knowledge.

It was also used by students on our access programmes, for example learning to cut and weld steel beams to an exacting specification – before testing them to destruction!
