Biography
Felix Wagner is a DPhil student in the Department of Engineering at the University of Oxford, supervised by Professor Konstantinos Kamnitsas. Felix’s work mostly focuses on Federated Learning and Domain Adaptation in Computer Vision for Medical Imaging. He specialises in tackling the problems caused by distribution shifts across heterogeneous decentralised datasets when collaboratively training Deep Learning Models. Felix is interested in developing methods that enable AI models to adapt and perform effectively in new, unseen environments, which is essential for medical applications.
Felix finished his master’s and bachelor’s degrees in computer science at TU Wien before starting his DPhil.
