Biography
Jacob is a DPhil student on the Health Data Science CDT programme.
He previously worked as a Data Scientist in epidemiology at Public Health England, before joining the university's Big Data Institute in 2018. Before this he completed his undergraduate degree in Mathematics at the University of Oxford, and worked as a machine learning developer at a data analytics company in London.
His previous work has focused on the statistical analysis of AMR and the COVID-19 pandemic, working in conjunction with PHE and UK Biobank.
Research Interests
Jacob is interested in the use of data analytics to improve healthcare.
