Johnny holds a BSc in Medical Genetics from Queen Mary University of London and an MSc in Human Molecular Genetics from Imperial College London. He is currently in the final year of his DPhil in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Oxford, where his research focuses on developing LAMP (Loop-mediated Isothermal Amplification) rapid diagnostics for bacterial and viral pathogens. Johnny’s academic background lies in Molecular Genetics, and he has extensive experience working with iPSC stem cells and CRISPR-Cas gene editing systems.
