Biography
Justin is pursuing a fully funded DPhil in Engineering Science at the University of Oxford, studying under the supervision of Professor Paul Beard in the Oxford Thermofluids Institute (OTI). His research focuses on the analysis and design optimization of turbine rim seals through experimental and computational work. Prior to this, Justin completed his BASc from the University of Windsor where he worked under Professor Jeff Defoe.
Current Research Project
Justin's research focuses on turbine rim sealing in the HPT. His work includes experimental flow measurements and high-fidelity computational studies for the assessment, design and optimization of rim seals.
