Biography
Yasin Ibrahim is a DPhil student in the Department of Engineering supervised by Professor Konstantinos Kamnitsas and his work focuses on alleviating bias in deep neural networks for medical image analysis. He is particularly interested in the field of causal inference and how the tools it provides can be incorporated to develop more realistic and robust synthetic image generation techniques. Prior to joining the IBME, Yasin earned a BA degree in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge as well as a MSc degree in Statistics from Imperial College London.
