Biography
Yiheng is a DPhil student working with Professor Paul Shearing, in collaboration with the Faraday Institution and the ZERO Institute. His research currently focuses on the visualisation of lithium-sulfur battery degradation in four dimensions.
He obtained his master’s degree in Chemical Engineering (MEng) with honours from Imperial College London in 2024. Yiheng was a research assistant at the Cavendish Laboratory, University of Cambridge, during a summer internship in 2023, where he focused on modelling the volume expansion of lithium-ion batteries during the charging process for safety analysis.
