Biography
Yiyi obtained her BSc in Chemistry with first class honours from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and merit MRes in Nanomaterials from Imperial College. She joined Oxford as a DPhil student in 2024 and is researching on the encapsulation of luminescent guests in metal-organic frameworks (MOFs).

Materials Engineering of Novel Luminescent metal -Organic Framework Composites
The project concerns the design, fabrication, and application of novel luminescent systems, comprising luminescent guest (LG) molecules confined in a porous metal-organic framework (MOF) host.
