Dr. He Xu received her BEng in Materials Science and Engineering from China University of Geosciences, China. She obtained her DPhil in Biomedical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2014.
In the same year, she joined Shanghai Normal University as a lecturer. She was promoted to associate professor in 2018 and became a full professor in 2024. Dr. Xu is currently an academic visitor in the Department of Engineering Science at the University of Oxford.
