Matias Mattamala BSc MSc

Biography

Matias completed his B.Sc, Ingeniería Civil Electrica (P.Eng), and M.Sc in Electrical Engineering at the Universidad de Chile. He is now a DPhil student at the Dynamic Robot Systems group of the Oxford Robotics Institute under the supervision of Dr. Maurice Fallon.

When not in the lab, Matias enjoys photography, travelling, reading, and searching for weird and cheap stuff in second-hand stores.

Research Projects

Matias' projects is focused on the development of novel long-term navigation systems for legged robots, using cameras as the main sensing unit.
