Biography
Nathan completed an MEng in Engineering Science in 2021 at St. John’s College, Oxford, where his final year project explored using liquid crystal devices to reduce laser speckle in imaging systems. Nathan joined the Soft Matter Photonics Group as a DPhil student in October 2021 under the supervision of Dr. Stephen Morris and Professor Steve Elston. He is working on fabricating liquid crystal devices for use in optical systems with a particular focus on biomedical and head-up display technology.
