Biography
Dr. Tianxin (Tessar) Wang obtained his PhD from the School of Physics at Nanjing University in
2024, where his research focused on the design and construction of a femtosecond laser direct writing system, and laser-induced selective chemical etching techniques for crystalline materials. In September 2024, Dr. Wang joined the Soft Matter Photonics Group and the Dynamic Optics and Photonics Group in the Department of Engineering Science at Oxford University. His current research is dedicated to Coherence Domain Adaptive Optics, achieving adaptive optical control of the spatio-temporal coherence characteristics of a light source using liquid crystal speckle reducers.
