Dr Mohan Wang was awarded a PhD from the University of Pittsburgh for her thesis "Femtosecond Laser Fabrication of Photonic Devices on Transparent Platforms". She is currently researching new laser micro-fabrication techniques for optical fibre sensors capable of withstanding extreme environments.
